Five-Conveyor System for Port Loading in Indonesia

In May 2025, an Indonesian customer ordered five SANTO mobile conveyors for sand and gravel loading at a port. The project configuration handles 500 tonnes per hour.

SANTO combined truck receiving, material transfer and radial discharge equipment to connect the port’s delivery area with its loading operation.

Equipment Configuration

The system includes:

• One RTU1215 tracked radial truck unloader for receiving material from trucks.
• Three TS1020 tracked mobile conveyors for transferring material through the site.
• One TS1020R tracked radial stacker for positioning the final discharge.

Each machine performs a specific role within the handling route. The truck unloader receives incoming material, the transfer conveyors carry it onward, and the radial stacker directs the discharge at the loading end.

On-Site Installation and Commissioning

After the equipment arrived, SANTO engineers installed and commissioned the system at the port.

The customer praised the equipment configuration, build quality and on-site service. The five-machine arrangement gave the port a coordinated solution for handling sand and gravel at the project’s specified throughput.

This case illustrates how several mobile conveyors can work together to connect truck unloading with port loading across a site-specific transfer route.
